NIKFI has developed AI/ML (artificial intelligence/machine learning) – based solution for information retrieval systems for multimedia archives. Semantic searching capabilities highly improve archived materials availability for new production. Keywords-based search, human faces search, locations search are possible. Visual/semantics similarity searching (search by visual example) is one of the most wanted feature.
NIKFI has also developed a set of algorithms for blind video quality assessment intended for input quality control in government and privately owned video archives.
